BEARHUG WIN THE TRIPLE J UNEARTHED COMP
Bearhug have won in the Triple J Unearthed Competition to play at Peats Ridge. Competing against hundreds of other bands for the honour to perform at Peats Ridge 2009, the Triple J Unearthed judges have uncovered Bearhug. We are delighted to host this emerging band and bring their unique music to the Festival.
Triple J Unearthed describes their sound as “Lo-fi, shambolic, endearing indie rock with fuzzy guitars aplenty,” likening their music to Sparklehorse, Explosives in the Sky and Broken Social Scene.
