At Peats Ridge we ensure all cleaning products are not harmful to the environment. Cleaning areas that use natural cleaning products include:

 

• Food Stalls; washing up, disinfecting, hand wash

We use the following products:

 

HAND SANITISER

Citrofresh is completely organic and is certified by NASAA and Ecocert. Citrofresh's Derm E San is a water free hand sanitiser for decontamination and the prevention of cross contamination. It is hypoallergenic and incorporates a non toxic organic biocide Citrofresh®. This hand sanitising product is used by food stalls and also available at the amenities. It holds the Australian Environmental Choice Mark.

 

CLEANER

Citrofresh's San-E-Foam is a heavy duty, non toxic, non corrosive, foaming biocidal alkaline cleaner for surface cleaning and sanitization in home and commercial environments. San-E-Foam is 99% biodegradable. This product is used by our food stalls for cleaning. It holds the Australian Environmental Choice Mark.

 

HERBAL DISINFECTANT

Tri Nature's Sphagnum Moss Herbal Disinfectant is an extremely versatile cleanser with a gentle, fresh fragrance of musk seed and spearmint oil. Contains no bleach, chlorine, acids or caustic alkalies and does not give off harsh or toxic fumes. Enriched with natural herbal germicides, it re-odourises all treated areas. The festival's toilets and showers are cleaned with Tri Nature's Sphagnum Moss Herbal Disinfectant.

TOP TIPS

• Choose a range of chemical free cleaning products and supply them to your cleaning staff and market stalls.
• Set up chemical free cleaning packs for stalls to purchase.
• If you have campers, recommend they only use chemical free products and tell them a range will be available onsite for purchase (if practical).
