Studio ARTES Northside Inc, an independent not for profit community organisation, provides training and artistic programs for over 120 people (members) with disabilities. Their disabilities range from mild to severe intellectual to high care physical disabilities. The organisation crosses boundaries of government responsibility and caters for everyone regardless of disability, age, funding status or other life situation. The self expression of members is valued above all and artist mentors are there to assist members to further develop their work.
ARTES is an acronym for the programs on offer: Art, Recreation, Training, Employment and Skills.
