Think of dubstep and the immediate locales that comes to mind are the dark bedrooms of London's southern council estates where guys in hoodies hunch over laptops and overflowing ashtrays. Not so for Andrew Waszkiewicz aka Know-U. Dude comes from Newcastle. Newcastle as in the Hunter not the Tyne. Knights not the Magpies.

Now based in Sydney and a release on The Frequency Lab label, his sound is dark and mysterious, influenced by early, slowed-down drum and bass and abstract beats.
