FLIPPO

Flippo was raised by stingrays in the crisp southern coastal waters of Victoria. It was there that he first learnt the art of sound synthesis and manipulation. The sharks spoke to him of exotic forms of deep techno, the whales sang dubstep, and the penguins were junglists from way back. But the fine sediments kicked up by the southern swell made studio work arduous, so Flippo was forced to move to dry land. Before his shinny coat had even dried he had two releases under his belt, interstate bookings, and recognition from as high as BBC Radio 1's Mary Anne Hobbs.

Known for his genre morphing strains of dub-wise electronica, Flippo is not one to be put in a box. Expect lush organic textures, shifting time signatures, sliding tempos, and a blissfully heavy low end.
