EMMA DAVIS

After 18 years in London and a stint at Berklee College of music in snowy Boston, Emma was in desperate need of some sunshine. Armed with her guitar and a much-loved yellow beetle, she now wanders between Melbourne and Sydney with Mark Stevens (Crooked Fiddle Band) on double bass, and Nicola Ossher on drums.

Personal stories and familiar thoughts find subtle melodies in Emma's guitar and voice, which have gained kudos from triple j and community radio.

Over the last year she has worked hard with Brian Campeau to squeeze all her latest adventures, and the musical touch of the friends she was lucky enough to find along the way, onto a debut album.
