DJ STUART COUPE

Stuart Coupe has spent the past 30+ years as a music journalist, author, manager, publicist, promoter, music commentator, record shop owner, independent record label head and radio broadcaster. As a manager he has worked with the likes of the Hoodoo Gurus, Paul Kelly, Perry Keyes and The Devoted Few. As a promoter he has toured with artists such as Lucinda Williams, Guy Clark, Harry Dean Stanton, Rosanne Cash, Dick Dale and Link Wray.

His Laughing Outlaw Records has been going since 1999 and released over 140 albums by predominantly Australian artists. Laughing Outlaw has a distribution set-up not only in Australia but the UK, Europe, North America, Japan and New Zealand. For the past six years Stuart has also presented weekly radio shows on Sydney community station FBI as well as DJ'd at various clubs and functions.
