DANIMALS

Danimals is the solo project from Sherlock's Daughter Keyboard/Nintendo DS maestro, Jonti Danilewitz. As a product of the recent rebirth of experimentation in indie music, particularly the fusion of rock and electronic sounds, Danimals take a focus on rhythms and the deconstruction of traditional song structures to create some bouncy tripped out experimental music. Their live show revolves around the use of gadgets (Gameboys, Iphones), live instruments and samplers to put together diverse sound textures and beats with an unconventional pop ethic.

Jonti is accompanied by some of Sydney scenes finest (Julian from Mercy Arms, Moses from Good Buddah/Phrase, Will from Sherlock's Daughter/ Joysticks and Jaie from I Like Cats) making Danimals a unique act.
