BILLYGOAT AND THE MONGRELS

Billygoat and the Mongrels are one of Sydney's most exciting up-and-coming indie
bands. Their diverse array of instruments, sounds and lyrics, combined with impressive dance moves and charisma, make them a truly engaging live act.
The band plays a mash-up of genres including alternative, country, rock, and folk music.
Their original sound has been crafted through extensive musical influences from Hank Williams to Nick Cave and Nirvana.
Morgan (Billygoat) Tucker, the eccentric front-man of the band throws an interesting mix of dance moves into each performance, and possesses an onstage presence that is nothing short of 'wow'. Clarinet player, Bridget lends a rare and distinctive element to the music of 'the mongrels' with her exceptional improvisational skills, ensuring that no song ever sounds exactly the same in a live 'mongrel' show.
