ALF

Saigon to Sydney in 1986 on a staple diet of Pseudo Echo, Neil Diamond, Paul Mauriat, Latin music, Classical music and seafood...

Sometime in the mid 1990's at The Cricketers Arms ALF linked up with Ozi Batla (Astronomy Class / The Herd) to rollout some hip hop and jungle riddims.

ALF co-promoted and was resident DJ for legendary Sonic Fiction nights in a grimey club called Frontier. Soon a new concept called Airbourne was formed to showcase to a wider audience of drum and bass and beatz lovers. Along the road of musical explorations ALF teamed up with DJ Ritual to form Rollers Music. The pair wheeled out rollers (bass driven music) at gigs on 3 turntables and ran a Saturday night 2SER (107.3FM) show called Rollers Music.

Presented by Foreign Dub, ALF will be playing at the Dub Shack. More Info

Date performing: 30 December 2009
Stage: Dub Shack
