ALEESHA DIBBS

Her piano playing is reminiscent of a life in vaudeville, her vocals a mix between Joanna Newsome, Ella Fitzgerald and a gang of fairies on acid. Her songs come from a sixties love shack filled with flowers, tea cups and The Doors playing loudly on the stereo. Her songs capture the beauty and innocence of a child, yet speak deeply of the human condition, with all its dark little alleyways.

At twenty years old, Aleesha Dibbs is captivating audiences with her intensely rich, poetic music and her free spirit. Her music has seen her travel across Australia with many artists, including cult band The Orange Bird, singer songwriter Jez Mead and folk siblings Angus and Julia Stone, and just recently become a member of Indie/Rock band Beau Monde, amongst playing folk festivals, wonderland, la femme and the infamous market day.
