3RDEYE

Producer/DJ based in Byron Bay. Coming from a background in metal and metal production, 3rdeye began experimenting with drum and bass production in 2005. Now firmly grounded in the dubstep movement, 3rdeye is submerged in the deeper side of the genre with a soulful, ever-developing and diversely influenced sound.

Debut track 'Irish Wind' garnered widespread acclaim and international DJ support, and in late 2008 was selected for inclusion on Bunzero's Dubstepforum 3rd Anniversary Mix. The track is set for release in 2009 on Sydney-based label Sub Continental Dub. In a busy 2009, 3rdeye also signed with rising Czech Republic label Case Records and Detroit-based imprint 20/TWELVE, as well as having a track featured on a compilation for acclaimed UK label Echodub. He was also recognised as an up-and-coming figure in the Australian dubstep scene when major radio station Triple J commissioned an exclusive 30-minute studio mix in April this year.
